Uncharted: The Enigma of Penitence is a dark coaster created specifically for PortAventura World’s Far West land, based on the popular Sony PlayStation “Uncharted” movie and video game series. This high-speed Intamin Multi-Dimension coaster has guests accelerating, braking, spinning, and running for their lives as they are chased by Landon Killbride and his evil Henchmen all in the quest for Aztec treasure!
The Story
In the 1500s, Spanish explorer Hernán Cortés and his army of Conquistadors struck a deal with the Aztecs that secured 40,000 pounds of treasure. Unable to transport it all back to Spain, they concealed the gold and silver deep within a mountain along the California coast and crafted a mechanical map to mark its location. But fate intervened—the Conquistadors never returned, and the hoard remained untouched for centuries.
Now, treasure hunters Nathan Drake, Victor Sullivan, and Chloe Frazer have uncovered the map’s extraordinary origin. Their pursuit leads them through perilous landscapes, ruthless mercenaries, hidden traps, mind-bending puzzles, and even a strange hallucinogenic gas. And this time—they’ve invited us along for the adventure!
